I spent a good chunk of my day putting this together, plus last night making the tree.

The tree I made using a dowel and a lot of pipe cleaners. I went with Pink and Purple for a couple reasons 1) their the colors I’m trying to use the most of in my own Christmas decorating and 2) I could only find neon green ones in my stash, I used all my awesome green tinsel ones last Christmas. Then I added gold curling ribbon, but didn’t curl it so it looks more like the wire ribbon popular on trees. The ornaments are some teal plastic flower beads I’ve had in my stash. The star is just a wood cutout painted pink with some silver glitter added.

The gift bags I found on printmini.com, except they were plain white so I played with them in gimp until I got the right pink color I wanted and added the reindeer. Then when I was putting all my printables into a word file one printing is better than five after all, I changed the colors on 2 of them to Pink and Teal.

The couch is one I’ve had FOREVER, like since probably 1989. It used to be a nice rose pink but it had long since faded and it was several different colors. I had painted it a quick layer of black paint a while ago and then the other night I added some hot pink (same pink for the star on the tree actually).

The Christmas cards were ones I scaled down to size and used some cute graphics I found online that just seemed to fit the style I was going for rather than the old Victorian styles I had seen on several mini printables.

The movie posters were images I found, scaled down to size and when I was putting them in word, I added a boarder around them so it looked like they were framed.

I’m really glad I finally got to do this, especially for Christmas. I’ve been looking at my dolls in their said little box, waiting for something to happen with them and finally I got this scene set up. I do have a few other scenes I want to put together with other pieces I have including a kitchen scene, shopping scene, and an outdoor scene.
